420sel european model

It appears I have a 1986 European 420sel as I have noticed that some items are missing such as the 750 ohm resistor near the fuse box and such. Anybody know how to diffrentiate between US and German?

Also, I bought a set of manuals on CD and man they suck. Where can I get a printed manual or at least one that makes some sense and has some detail?

And as long as I'm asking, I have a the rough idle thing. Changed to new Bremi spark plug wires, plugs, fuel accumulator, filter, rotor, fixed the vaccum leaks I found (again no diagram available so I don't know where are this stuff runs).

It starts hard when it has been run. Idles about 900 (with a slight shake) but put it in gear and it drops to 550, the oil pressure gauge bounces like a basketball and it nearly dies. Runs like a bat out of hell on the open road.

Yeah, I've removed the OVP and cleaned the contacts, removed the idle control valve and cleaned (measured about 800 ohms across the contacts), cleaned the cold start valve, check connections, etc, etc, etc.

ANY DIAGRAMS, MANUALS or pics are appreciated by me, my wife, my children and all those in central texas.

if the cruise control stalk words are, betchel ,verzog , your car is probably a euro model .,, high and rough idle = you probably still have a vacuum leak , did you spray carb cleaner around the intake manifold area to see if the rpm's rise ? if it does ,this is a sign that air is entering the intake somewhere other than the plenum .
