THis is under the hood on the passenger side towards the rear of the engine compartment. The numbers might be a little hard to see. 1 is up at the top, 2 is a little lower than that, and 3 a little lower than that. 4 is down to the lower right, and 5 is even lower and on the left. I just want help in identifying these parts. I know 1, 2, and/or 3 are probably the ECU or something... but I'm not sure. And I know that 5 seems to have vacuum lines going to it, but what's the purpose? Thanks guys. [Edited by David C Klasse on 06-15-2001 at 05:23 AM]

Thanks MBDoc!
I have been wondering this for the longest time! I love having a digital camera now. BTW, what is Duo valve? What is the vacuum distributor? Purpose? And number one is a computer (?) the controls the idle and the cruise control? Thanks again.

Duo valve is for two zone heat control. Vacuum distributor is just that, distributes controlled vacuum to components which require vacuum inputs. Cruise control amp is now in an easily accessible location. Thank GOD!!

Ok, so for the duo valve, i'm assuming that the dual zone is the front vents and then the feet/defroster.
And 1 is the cruise control amplifier? That's what I was thinking when he told me that. How/why does it also control the idle? THanks for the help; sorry for all the questions.
