Talking No Check engine light

I cannot find the check engine light on my 1993 300ce (104.992 / 124-052) 124,000 miles. After removing the instrument cluster and following the wires 1,2,3,4,5,etc. I cannot find #1 wire, and in the bottom right corner of the cluster there is a location for a bulb but check engine is not written anywhere on the cluster. any Ideas, wires appear to not have been disturbed. any pictures of 1993 300 ce cluster out there?

If your car is Federal version, you do not have a CE lamp or Diagnostic Module.
It has to be Ca version to have such...
...94/95 were all Cal. Emmissions Standards w/DM

You are welcome.

Note that there is a Diagnostic box in front of the battery with a lid on it ..This is there for Flash Code access. If this box contains a Push-Button and LED set-up, then the car has a CE lamp and Emmissions Diagnostic Module. [ N59].. If it does not, then it does not have a CE lamp either, b/c CE lamp works in conjuntion with the built-in Led/SW for CE lamp code retrieval.
