need help
 

Im trying to replace a fifth gear overdrive microswitch for a 94 S320 W140 located under the shifter in the center console. I dont know where to start. I tried taking the ash tray out and took me almost half hour before I gave up on it. Where can I order an instruction manual with a step by step proceedure for this job?
ps. My fifth gear is intermitently shifting in and out of fourth and I was told by service manager of AutoBahn motors in Belmont,CA to first replace the micro switch part no. 140-545-03-14 .
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The shifter wood, shift lever, & the top of the shifter must come OFF to do that job....I would also replace the 4-5th detent as well.

Takes a good dealer tech about 1-1.5 hrs.
