Hi everyone,
My 260e is giving me problems again. On the way home today I look down at the fuel gage to seee how much gas I have left. The needle was past empty. That was very odd to me because I had never seen it that far past empty. Then I looked at all the other needles and realized that none of them were working (except for speedometer and fuel economy gauge). Does anyone know what could be the problem? Hopefully its something small because I want to buy chrome rims. Thanks for your help. |
Check the fuse box, and replace fuse #5 (your front dome light and brake lights are also on this fuse). Even if it looks good, replace it - there can be a hairline crack that causes the problem. Check all the other fuses while you are at it as well.

Thanks. It was a hairline crack in fuse #5. I must have overlooked it when I was looking through the fuses earlier. Thanks for your help.
