I will try and diagnose this weekend a report my findings.

If this valve is the culprit, then I intend to raise H** at the dealer here in CT.

Why? They may have :eek::eek: made a mistake, and in that case you ought to give them the chance to make it right.

If you go in there with the :mad::mad: attitude that "...I'm gonna raise Cain no matter what!" then you are not likely to get a very favorable reception.

It is possible that they just screwed up - happens to the best and worst of us.

True, but personally I would rather know that this is "the" problem to use as ammunition, then to have them check it out, replace the valve, lie to me and charge me for something else more expensive to make them look good.

Ok, I disconnected the aux water pump and attempted to block off the heater core hose...no change in a/c operation. I intend to take it to another a/c shop for diagnosis.

Any further help would be appreciated...
