Idle adjust after throttle vavle switch R & R??
 
Im replacing the throttle valve switch on my '87 420SEL and the manual says the last step is to adjust the idle speed. I recall reading a post about running the engine at a certain rpm for a few minutes to adjust the idle but now I cant find the posting.

ON USA versions cars after 1986 idle speed isn't adjustable. Idle speed computer controls that speed.

Can the idle speed be directly adjusted on a 1986 190E 2.3-16v?
