exterior temperature sensor 94 E320

I have a 1994 E320 MB and the outside temperature sensor has been working intermittently and reads the wrong temperature. Where is the sensor located and is it possible to change it? Thanks

Hi. I had a 94 E320 coupe. The sensor on my car was located behind the front license plate. Some times the screw falls out and the sensor will hang free adversely influenced by engine heat.
If infact the sensor is bad/damaged, I would recommend replacing the entire cable and sensor as a unit.
