reference sensor
A little help please. I ordered from the PartsShop, great service.
However, I ordered the wrong part. Ordered part# 001 153 84 28, (aka, reference sensor). What I really needed is a TDC sensor. Before I find another home for the reference sensor, could someone tell me what it is and what is it used for. I checked the FastLane and it falls into the "motor-electrical" category. This part is supposed to fit onto a '83 300 cd. Thanks in advance for your replies. Marks88 |

Donnie,
I'm trying to see if I can get my tachometer working again. It operates intermittently. I have tried the cigarette butt and the cardboard trick inside the sensor cap. But that helps only part of the time. I've seen a reference sensor before, but I can't recall what it is used for. Marks88 |
