Went to check the Transmission fluid in my 1993 300se and the dipstick is stuck. Ended up pulling the cap loose from the dipstick. Tried putting a pair of channel locks on it and still couldn't pull it out. I check the fluid regularly and have never had any trouble. Has anyone ever heard of this? Any Ideas?

How about getting a good length of narrow gauge copper pipe and sliding it over the top of the dipstick, and gently forcing the pipe down to push the dipstick away from the dipstick tube wall? Presuming of course that its stuck against the dipstick wall.
