My '92 400e with 97k on the odo has a persistent but light fluid leak. Duh, really unusual huh?

Question: Can the unit be re-sealed or must I replace it. If it is possible to re-seal can anyone refer me to a link helpful for a moderately competent DIY'er? Thanks all.
