W124, Code 5 pin 13 after transmission overhaul.
Hi,
1995 E320 W124. I just got my transmission repaired. It is a 722.5 transmission. The car is running very good but I decided to read codes to see if needed to delete something after this repair. I'm getting CODE 5 on PIN 13. I undestand this pin is used for the electronic transmission control (ETC), but I don't know what this code means. And this code can't be deleted with the led tool.  I'd really appreciate if someone can explain this code. I invested a lot of money fixing this transmission and need to know if something is bad while there is guarantee coverage. Thank you very much.

Are you sure it is pin 13? My 95 E320 does not have a module associated with pin 13. (the 16 pin diagnostic connector has a number 13 hole, but there is no metal contact in the hole)

Yes, I'm sure it's pin 13 but I forgot to mention this is the German version. Sorry, I know realize it was important to mention. It is the 16 pin connector but for example, it has an empy hole on number 3 and I think your's has something there.
Agghhh. I now realize this is going to be hard to find out.

J.M. Yes, I understand and really appreciate your interest. I'd like to ask you one last question. I guess your car has also an electronic transmission control (ETC) diagnostics module, but probably the circuit is related to another pin position on the 16 pin conector. Could you check if you have a codes list for the ETC module and check description for code number 5?

the etc control box is in front of pass feet under carpet on floor,i have had to replace before also check inside plug to module and see if signs of trans fluid in there.
