Please Help

I really need help with this, I was hoping once i drove the car for a little the mileage would return but it just started counting up from 000000, 000001, 000002........

your dealer should be able to reprogram to a more realistic mileage reading.
suggest you bring in any documentation you might have to support the figure
you're reqesting they set.

Thanks Raymond, I was hoping to stay away from the dealer but I guess thats my only choice. I just had the car inspected the day before it reset so i'll just use that mileage. Thanks again

I dont think the dealer can programm it, I know replacements had to be programmed at the parts department with a mileage statement by the dealer.
There was some software on the market that instrument rebuilders could use, it will be interesting what the solution is

When we replace instrument clusters here at the dealership, the replacement unit has dashed lines where the mileage should be. Using SDS, we can set the mileage forward, one time only! If we make a mistake (we sometimes do), I send the unit here, http://www.paspeedo.com/, to have the correct mileage programmed.
