1995 c280-turn signals

i am posting this for my sister-in-law. her 1995 c280 has had recent problems with the turn signals working sporadically. one minute they work fine then suddenly they do not work at all. could this be due to a faulty relay or even a wiring harness problem for this model? any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem on my 95 E300D. In my case I had a cold-solder joint on the ground terminal of my combination relay. To see cold-solder joints you need use a magnifying lens and look for cracks in the solder. The relay is located on the back of fuse housing. Good luck.
