1994 C-Class Oil Change

Hi, a fellow in our office bought a nice '94 C-class with an inline 6. Is there anything peculiar about changing the oil? My only experience is with my '86 420SEL. Thanks. There's no dealer nearby and his daughter is supposed to get the car and is tired of waiting!

Nothing special about oilchange on that car, if you have the proper " wrench " to remove the oilfilter cap. ;)
Looks like this:

I remember reading somewhere that there was a technical service bulletin for the M104s of that vintage (same as mine) that the oil dipstick isn't calibrated properly, and if you fill the oil up until it shows full on the dipstick you are actually over filling by about a half litre. Whenever I change the oil on mine I only fill it up until the oil reads half way between the "add" and "full" marks on the dipstick.

That is the correct level, as per my owners manual. ;)
