97 s420 trans problem, code p0700
 

hello, my trans just started acting up, was enjoying a 2 hr drive then came to a stop light, that was when all hell broke loose. it just slips, no power to the wheels as if i was in neutral, then i hear this whining noise. so to say the least im getting all nervous, all passer-by's were looking at me as if im some clown, u know (rubber-neckers) and i am feeling the heat. so i gave it a start 10 mins later it started to move just fine up until about 100ft started to do the same thing slip again. so i had it towed back to my house. i decided to let my friend with a code scanner take a look and this is what we found, p0700-trans control. p0455 evap leak(large). some other code that i forget but remember, incorrect gear, and something else. my friend accidently erase all the codes, so im wondering if you can retrieve the codes? any inputs on my problems? thank you all for your time.
