124 Roof trim removal (how do i get it to come off)??

I am having trouble removing my exterior roof trim (those two strips across the sides of the roof) for a roof paint touch up. Does anyone know how to get that off?
Thanks,
Nick

They have little clips and snap into the channel in the roof. Easier to start at the back and Be Careful and Gentle!

Great,
Do I use a screwdriver and pry up? Also if I ruin any of the clips can I buy new ones somewhere?
Thanks,
Nick

Use a small width paint scraper instead of a screwdriver and protect the paint work with a thick cloth. The clips can be obtained at your local Merc dealership and correctly start at the rear. Be very careful whenyou get to the front windcreen.
