Hi,
I removed the front right fender cover to get access to the coolant overflow tank (replace hose) and I discovered that there is some kind of liquid inside the vacum reservoir. About 1/3 of the tank is full with some kind of liquid stuff. Is that normal? If so, what kind of liquid is that? Car is a 1995 E320 Sedan. W124, M104. Thanks

Anyone? Is it ok to have this fluid filling 1/3 of the vacum reservoir tank?
thanks

No there should not be fluid in the tank. Determine what type of fluid it is that might give you a clue where it came from.

Ooopps!. Another MB surprice to deal with.....
I hope I get some time this weekend to remove the tank again and check what kind of fluid is in it. I've been thinking about it and I just can imagine were this fluid came from. The only thing I can think about is that the transmission was overhauled about 2 weeks....
