I dunno...from the trunk pictures, it appears to have been submerged in water for a brief period...a flood car?

And Euro models with a stick tranny are more prevalent not because Amercans are lazy, but Europe has far more twisty roadways that can take advantage of shift driving, versus the American 8-lane superhighways that go straight and flat for hundreds of miles!

Another reason for the prevalence of sticks in Europe is efficiency regs, automatics "slip" where a stick does not and if memory serves me right the initial cost of getting an auto is higher because they just aren't ordered as often there

Next time you're on a car lot take a look at the window sticker. The last time I looked a manual was either a cheaper option, or the automatic (although the most common tranny on most cars anymore in the US) is still an additional cost item.

No matter how nice the car might be, most MB dealers are not going to keep a 1991 with over 150,000 miles on it with a bad elect seat and an inoperative soft top on their lot for sale.

In my state, you don't have to disclose anything if the car is more than 10 years old.
