500sl engine starts to miss after warm up.

I have a 500sl euro that when it warms up (after appx. 5 miles it starts to miss) and it will lunge back home . The car sat out side for appx. 2 years before I purchased it. I changed the fuel pump and the filter. What could cause this problem? Any help would be greatly appricated.
