ECU and Airflow meter can they be checked?

Does anyone know how to check a ecu to see if it is any good or not same with the Airflow meter

Assuming it's a 190E, what year and model - and what is the problem? ECU and airflow meter can be checked for a large number of operational parameters, but this would be a waste if you have no clue which direction to look?

Check for a duty cycle waveform at the X11 connector, pins 2 and 3.
