Neutral Safety Switch Adjustment

My son had trouble stopping until he hit the car in front of him. Front end sheet metal gone. Car does not start in Park or nuetral. With shift indicator in Reverse the engine starts right up. The accident must have loosened something on the switch. Is there a way to adjust the switch so it starts in Park and Neutral again. Or do I need to buy a new one. Had shift bushings replaced 1 year ago,

Any help is greatly appreciated.

My bet is he bent the shifter rod that goes to the NSS
Go under there and see if it is straight..
The NSS is adjustable by loosening the mount bolts and rotating the sw.

There is also a nuteral/safety switch on the transmission where the linkage attaches. This may be out of adjustment and can be easily re-adjusted.
