W202 headlining replacement
 

hello! my W202 (non sunroof) headlining has collapsed! i have been able to get to the point at which the roof lining assembly is free of the roof and ready to come out, but i forgot to check beforehand if i can actually get it out of the car once swinging free...... is this possible?

hello! well, with the help of an assistant, the roof lining is safely out of the car!

it seems that the foam under the vinyl has deteriorated.... what is the best way to rectify this? should i get new foam and stick it on and then stick the material onto the new foam?
