Hi I have an 89 500sec (Europe) that has been having similar problems to other members whereby the Transmission slips once the engine is warmed up and especially if I accelerate hard; the revs go through the roof etc etc..., what is happening though is that it also causes the fan belt to snap (this has now happened twice) and the transmission will not respond again until the engine has been left to go completely cold. Can anyone tell me whether the two things are related and more to the point how to sort it out. Many Thanks in advance for any assistance.
p.s Regards from UK
