What is the best alternator for a 600SEL 1992?
 
When I purchased the car it was working on a new 120amp alternator but not Bosch, it was made in Malaysia (sounds not good). Now I'm going to by a used original Bosch one. My question is: Do you think to install 150amp or 120amp alternator for it? Does it hurt if it installed 150amp alternator? I use the genuine MB battery 100amp. The battery light is on occasionally on the dashboard. Thank you.

It came with a Bosch AL0162X 143 amp alternator, that is what I would stick with that.

I found a 150amp alternator. I'll install it today and see...
