a few issues on 202 that I want insight on
I just lost my 2nd MAF. The original went 9 years and 103k miles, this one is dead at 23 months and 60k miles. I have also been losing headlight bulbs, though I suspect the latest one to be due to a cracked lens allowing water to get through. Both of my foglights are out though, so is there a fuse that could be the culprit for both foglights? Which fuse would it be?
The bigger question is, with the premature death of these electrical components, is there some sort of over-voltage situation I should be looking for somewhere? |
yet more suspicion about electrical issues. Replaced a foglight bulb tonight which I suspected was blown, and re-secured a loose connection on the one that has been working intermittently.
Neither works, still. Blown fuse? Blown MAF? 4 blown bulbs in 6 months? |
How is the air filter housing? On the E300D's in can warp letting some un filtered air through, blowing the MAF.

I would assume the fuse is blown for the fogs. I'm not sure which number it is off the top of my head, but just take off your fuse cover and look on the inside of the cover - should be a chart showing what fuses are where.

I'll check that fuse too. My Haynes (read: UK) manual is great for giving you 90% of the information, and leaving the last 10% to chance (kinda crucial). I'll check the lid. |
So I replaced the fog light fuse, and they still don't work. New bulbs, new fuse.
Any suggestions? |
