1995 C280 (W202) Trunk Ligh
Hello,
I have recently purchased a 1995 C280. The owner's manual explained how to switch off the trunk light by pulling out the trunk light pin. However, I don't see any trunk light in the trunk. Can any one please tell me the exact location of the trunk light? I'm thinking that maybe the bulb has burnt out? Let me know. Thanks. |

The trunk light is on the right side of the trunk (pass. side). It's kind of up where the tail-lamp is (on the inside). If you look under there, you should see it. If it is burnt out, you can buy a new unit (lamp and cover peice) for about $5 at the dealer. I did this... but I was doing it because I wired a 2nd trunk light on the other side of the trunk.
The pull-out switch is convenient though! Hope this helps.
