Hall Speed Sensor W124 broken

hi,
my cruise control isn't working and i assume CC wouldn't work just because the Hall Speed Sensor is broken, i guess....
well maybe you could assist me how to determine the Hall Speed sensor is broken or not.
I've search within this forum and couldn't find the answer

thanks

Hall Sensor?

It is most likely your Cruise Control Amplifier. There are many posts on this subject. Good luck.

ehmm... because i removed my old instrument cluster with the newest one... and i didnt realize that my old instrument cluster has a speed sensor right behind the odometer, unfortunately the new one hasnt......
after couple of months, just realize that CC requires speed sensor
before i replaced with the new cluster CC works fine.....

well my original cluster has been sold, a week after i installed the new one ,including the speed sensor

then i found the aftermarket speed sensor, but i dont know the sensor is working or not......

well, not many cars have a CC in my country, only import car has it

Very Good.

Another overlooked CC problem can arise from unequal tire size or PSI, but that usually shows up as CC cut-out as speed increases.
