hi i just wanted to know if anyone knows if the lower ball joint on a 1991 300E is welded on the lower control arm like my 94 e320.
i just dont wanna go through the same problem as i did with my e320 b/c it was welded on. so i had to buy the lower control arm.

is my 300e the same?

and another thing, the mechanic said it need an upper ball joint? i looked for parts, and i couldnt find a thing.

No upper balljoint on 91 300.Maybe you better watch this mechanic closely.He either is not qualified or dishonest. My $.02 Don

You can only get the W124 upper ball joints with the muffler bearing and turn signal fluid refresher kits.
