Overload Relay + 4matic light relation?

So after calling all around the state trying to figure out how to troubleshoot my 4matic light flashing at me 11 times (steering angle sensor?) I was told to check my overload relay fuses/connection for green grim/corrosion. Sure enough, there was some...is this viable cause for the erratic occurrence of my light coming on. By that I mean if I reset it it could come on at 30 miles after, or over 400!

Some times I don't even need to disconnect that battery to turn it off, lately if I just flip the Test switch a couple times it will do it?!

Thoughs? Anyone know where else I could call that would able to point me in the right direction?

If you have the code read while the light is ON then you would know what is causing the problem.
