Recirc Pod W124 A/C

Hi all,

When I got the car, the recirc function seems to be disabled; meaning I can't smell anything outside. While this proves to be a good thing, It doesn't let me enjoy the morning dew as well.

From the 2 pictures that I have gotten, How could I enable it back?

1) To disable the pod, could the PO have removed any vac lines?
2) Or how could he disable the vents from opening if any?

How can I enable the function back? I have got this hissing sound when recirc is off and something plug( small pop sound) when recirc is on ( meaning light is on).

Thanks

If I remember right, the recirc vents are OPEN unless the vacuum pod closes them. There are actually three settings...open, 80% closed and closed.

Of course, this is for the automatic system. I don't know if your 200E has that.
