w124 fuel pump relay/mas (1991) question

On the top of this part there is a two-position dial, marked I believe with a 0 and 1. Does anyone know what each position is for? Which way should it point for normal operation? Thanks.

That knob is simply a lock. Turn it clockwise to secure the module in the base.

Also, on this combo unit, which pins should be jumped to get the fuel pumps to run (my car doesn't stay running and I want to find out if the relay is functioning properly)? Thanks.

I have never seen an answer to the question about how to jump the MAS to turn on the pumps, although there is plenty of info about doing it with the older separate fuel pump relay.

Yes, I know also learned, from this great forum, about doing it on the older models, and that knowledge saved me once and got me home. Here's hoping someone knows about the newer version and will educate us. Otherwise, I will have to drain my fuel tank, I'm afraid, since I mixed fresh gas with the old.
