Fail in love again

Just got a 1994 E320 Wagon ....see attached pictures.
What make me go crazy was that the evaporator, head gasket, wiring harness and throtle actuator was done, and the body does not look that bad
What do you think guys?

Although there is a vibration at 65-90 mph. I am putting new tires tomorrow and then I will make the final diagnostic.

Looking good !! Heated seats,,,, memory seats,,, leather seats. Wanna trade ? My engines cleaner though. How many miles ?

"Heated seats,,,, memory seats,,, leather seats "
This is what I am talking about ....it is very rare this combination, including headlight wipers

Not rare at all..that is just the Winter Package..see them up North all the time. Along with Heated WW Res and ASR.

Arthur, the winter package does not include leather. They all come with MBtex.

Don't know Arthur. I look at every wagon I can find, and there have been VERY few I have seen with that combination. If I could find one at a reasonable distance I would really consider buying it just for the heated and memory seats.:D

I was talking about the heated seats with the WW wipers and heaters for Wiper fluid and side view mirrors.
That is the Winter pak...and most I worked on in New England with Winter Pak also have ASR for winter traction. You will se a "Chains" low RPM lock-out switch on the dash for that feature...

Nice find! :D

If the tires are marginal, then go ahead and replace.

Otherwise, check control arm bushingss and idler arm for the vibration issues.

I am not saying the leather is part of the Winter Pak, but I will also say that if they came with MB Tex, I have never seen one ..every one I worked on had leather..might be a Euro/MB tex thing ?
I have also been told that 94/95 -124s/US came with the leather option, regardless of if being ordered or not...but that is just an observation..
The memory seats is a rare feature, but the heated seats are common.
Regardless, you will like that chassis , for sure...and there are many Techs here familiar with that chassis, and many DIYer threads on most problems are in the Archieves.
The first 124 chassis with decent lighting, by the way........and you will enjoy the first gear start and a cruisin' rear differential ratio these had over earlier 124s........

Replace all tire withe Continentals form Luke (Tirerack) an everything disappears.
It drives like a dream. No comparison with any other w124. Checked all the arms in the back and surprise!!!! they all new with MB blue and white label attached.
Don't get me wrong but my figure is that the previous owner tried to cure the vibration but he did not think at the tires. The tires on the car were Khumo S rated, if you can believe that and there were pretty new.
