I have a 83 380 SEL with about 430 000 km and original engine and is running like a million dollars! The chain has been changed to double chain and some small things like fuel relay and idle control.

Is it ok to drive it hard sometimes or all the time considering it's age and mileage. Would something blow up and I am not talking redlining it just to about 3000 to 4000 rpm. What rpm level would be considered as driving hard on this car anyways?

Please reply thanks!
