01 E430 interior lights dont go off
 

The interior lights of the car (when set correctly) do not turn off and the ext. lights do not go on when I lock the doors btu they do lock.
Seems the wife took the car, said she closed the door with the seat belt in the door and that is when it started.
I looked this up and it seem to be a possibiluity of one of two things?? PSE control module or front door contact switch.
Any idea which? or if it is the PSE, where exectly is it. My manual shows only an approximatel location.

do a search on PSE pump. most likely its the pse pump. it's located right next to the battery under the rear right side of the seat.

It sounds like the door contact switch got pushed through the doorjamb. It's just below the striker. Take a look and let us know what you find.
