Self Leveling Suspension Noises?

Should I hear a noise from the rear suspension of my 560 all of the time that sounds like a pump running?

I believe that you may be hearing the fuel pumps,which is normal.

I hear the same noises from my rear suspension, usually right after starting the car then it goes away...I've always assumed it was air in the suspension leveling system or something...I really don't know.
