South Jersey

Calling on any Mercedes Guru in south jersey that I can meet up with to look over my 88" 300TE and help me figure out the not so obvious stuff I need to fix. I don't expect you to get your hands dirty, I just need a little help getting a list together and prioritizing what I need to take care first. When I'm poking around my car and think I've got my mind wrapped around things, I come across something and think "What the heck is that". My first benz is a far cry from all of the jeeps I've had and rebuilt in my life

Figure on as many rubber parts as you can get to...

Idler arm 20

motor mounts 100

Transmission mount 20

rear links 20

front shock mounts 60

sway bar bushings 15

steering shock 20

tie rod ends/center drag link 120

You also have the rear shock accumulator which I know nothing about.

Have as spares: fuel pump relay, klima-a/c relay, ovp, voltage regulator, distributor cap, rotor

Count on: Water pump failure, and at some point a/c system

We buy 50 dollars in parts each month and build an inventory...and do the work as needed or when we feel like it

Most importantly: change all....all fluids so you have a base record. Change spark plugs

All DIY stuff....although a/c and water pump are a PIA.

There. No one got dirty
