Reserve Light Flashing.

I Have A 1997 California E420 That The Fuel Resercve Light Flashes On And Off A Nd I Wondered If Anyone Knows What This Indicates.
It Sometimes Coincides With A "check Engine Electronics" Display, But Not Always. It Starts Flashing At Any Fuel Level, sometimes Half Full Somes 1/4 Full. Ther Doesn't Seem To Be Any Pattern. I Have Replaced The Fuel Filler Cap As Well As The Breather Hoses And Purge Vent Hoses.
Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.
Eddie

If it triggers the Check Engine Light, it should log a faultcode in the cars computer.
Get the computer scanned, find out what the code is ( are ) and repair it.

I believe that the flashing reserve lamp indicates a faulty seal in the vapor recovery system. Is your fuel cap tight?
