86 300e dome light problem

Trying to fix a dome light that works with the passenger side switch, but not the drivers side. Contact switches are good. I think an old alarm system may have severed the wire between the light control & buzzer relay and the switch. I cannot find the relay? Mitchel says it is near the interior part of the parking brake lever and I cannot find it. All I see there is the Cruise control relay in that area. Does anyone know where the relay is? Not sure if I am dealing with a bad wire or realy. Thanks John
