S320 instrument lights

Can anyone tell me why when I turned on the lights last night the right half of the instrument cluster and the left two vent flow wheels did not light. Thanks.

The bulbs could be burnt out.

Burned out bulbs. Happened on my 1999. The repair is a bit on the involved side but if your patient and careful and have small hands its not so bad. If you do a search there is a thread that has a link to someone with a great site on how to do this repair.

Do yourself a BIG favor and forget about the idea of LED bulbs before it even comes into your mind. I tried the LED bulbs in mine because I did not want to open the cluster again. The amber ones were too dim and the white ones made my cluster a purple color. The regular bulbs look the best.
