190E 3.2 not kicking down to 1st gear.

Hi there, it's been a while since I have posted here. I was just wondering, my tranny isn't kicking down to 1st when I "put the pedal to the metal". My kick down switch is fairly new so I don't think it's that. I checked my boweden cable and it seems like the threaded adjustment mechanism has cracked and no longer able to be adjusted. Would that be the reason why it doesn't kick down do 1st gear? Even when I'm at the speed of 10-15 mph in 2nd gear it wont kick down to 1st.

Sean

Heh I dont beat on it too much. It used to kick down a month ago, I don't know why it would stop. Would it be because of the condition of my bowden cable?
