Hi: How do you remove the plastic engine cover from the new 5.0 L V8? Can this be done easily? Thanks................

I'm not positive about yours, but on the C240, you simply reach under the front of it and start pulling up.

Very easily.
There are approximately 8 release "tabs" that must be unfastened. Remove the small cover near the front of the engine by simply pulling up. You can now see a few of the tabs. The ones at the rear are kinda tricky because of the limited space |
