New Battery 1998 C230 Gas
I jst replaced a battery in my 1998 C230. Of couse, I did not anticipate any potential problems from this replacement. Should have checked here first. Now my audio system just says "WAIT". My owners's manual has no "code" information or, if it is there, I can't find it. The good news is everthing else seems to work OK. Is there a source of electronic codes for the audio system and/or resetting service reminders on the odometer? Seems like Mercedes would post these items on a web-site somewhere.
Thanks - Ed |

Call your M-B dealer with your VIN number, he should be able to give you the radio code ( providing it is the original radio ).

The info you may need is not in the OWNER'S MANUAL but in the OPERATION GUIDE for the radio a separate booklet. Also there is usually a little 3.5 inch X 2 inch envelope with your radio code in it. All these items should be in the leather/plastic zipper fold that came with the car.
You didn't have to re-sync your windows and sunroof? |

If you have a receipt from any work done at the dealership, the radio code should be on there.
