I've done my diligent searching, and I'm still confused. My CEL came on a few days ago. I am getting fault code 5. I am unsure what this code means. In looking thru the forum it seems it is either the O2 sensor or the EGR. Also, is the O2 sensor under the front passenger carpet? Any help would be appreciated.

Code 5 would be for O2 sensor. It is located in the exhaust pipe just behind the engine. Follow the wire to the connection, which may be under the front passenger carpet.
