Avant Guard grill insert installation (w124)
 

hello everyone.

i just bought an Avant Guard grill insert for me 1995 E320 wagon on eBay. has anyone else bought one of these and had trouble with the installation?

it seems the screws that hold the grill into the hood are too large for the brackets/holes on the new grill. the screws literally won't fit in the holes. has anyone else had this issue? how did you resolve it?
