Do window lift relays exist on a 1984 300D???If so...where are they located???

What seems to be the problem with your power windows? Do some of them not work? If so, it could as simple as dis assembling the switches and cleaning them out.

All the windows......and the directional signals died at the same time. I replaced the directional signal relay/flasher unit and nothing helped. In a "Haynes" book wiring diagram....it shows two window lift relays....but I have no idea if they really exist and where they are located!!

The wiring diagram shows a tie-in between the diectional signal relay and window lift relays...to fuse no.12. Someone toldme they are inder the driver's side kick panel and another person said they are in a box on the left front wheel well...both are incorrect! I am at a loss......
