Rough ride - Suspension Problem - s430

I have a 2004 s430 with about 50K. Owned it since new. Within last 4 or 5 months, ride has gotten very rough - feel's worse than my wife's truck. Feel every bump. Dealership has been unable to identify anything wrong, but replaced front struts. Checked tire pressure, etc. multiple times.

Took it to local mechanic. He immediately said something is wrong -absolutely no give in front end. If you push down, it doesn't even move, while back end will go up and down a bit.

Used to love this car's ride; now I don't drive it anywhere. It's too rough of a ride.

Ideas? Suggestions?

I would be on the dealer for this one. The car is too new to have this kind of problem. This has to be some part of the front suspension not moving anymore. If the car was mine I would remove the sway bar first & test. Then seperate the upper and lower suspension componets to isolate what part of the suspension is stuck. In my opinion the dealer should be doing this as warrenty if the car has not been in an accident then this should not be happening. Good luck. John

Airmatic?

Yes, It is an airmatic. Checked all of the different "comfort" levels. One outside mechanic said there was no "give" in the front end. Does anyone know if the front end, when you push down on it, should feel pretty much like the back end. You can push down on the front real hard and get little movement, while back end gives way and will bounce slightly.

The dealer is looking and looking but can't find anything. I don't think they've removed the sway bar or anything like that however. Any quick tests I should suggest or tell them to do what you said in your first post?
