E300 Steering problem HELP!!!!
I bought a E 300 used 89 and just yesterday in -5C weather was reversing, heard a 'ping' and the steering went all hard and difficult...what gives...what should I be looking for. Please help.

Is it possible....
that the drive belt for the steering pump broke?

NO the belt seems to be fully intack I check that....what else do u think.???
