Front Seat Supports
Hit Man X linked me to these things on ebay that appeared to be some kind of front seat stiffening that you stuck inside the springs of the front seats..
Well I found them in the EPC and thought some others might want to know the part number: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...y/a3d25475.jpg I might order some of these up see if they're any good. If I do I'll report back.. enjoy. They're also for sale on FastLane, http://catalog.peachparts.com/item.wws?qty=1&mfr=TYS%3A+OES&sku=1269142215&price=5.25&cookieID=28R02TKV928T04IZ86 "Description: Front seat foam support inserts... (AF91.10-U3101A)... application - all W123 and W126... These foam supports are inserted vertically into the front seat base coil springs to stiffen seat frame, reduce sagging and owner perceived cornering roll..." Price $5.25 |
That would be good to know. There have been a few people here buy them BUT nobody has said anything + or - about them.

foam for W124 and W201 front seats
There are similar foam stiffening pads that are for the W124 and W201 front seats. there is a set for the rear also but I did not install them, who can get people to sit inteh back seat of a w201 when there is a large adult in the front seats? there is like 4 inches of room for their legs.
Anyhow, i installed the foad blocks in the front seats of my W201 2.3-16v and the seats are a completely different animal now! A much better comfortable animal. The seats dont sag or bottom out on the front corners any more and they feel much more firm and fitting. I like them much much better now the foam inserts are in place. I ordered them from the Dealership for very little money, I think they were 8 or 9 dollars apiece and they are a more formed, larger piece than the ones for the W123 car seats. |
