rear hub clk320

I have a customer that has aftermarket wheels on 2003 mercedes clk320. While installing aftermarket studs, the rear hub was stripped. What is the best way to fix this problem. and what is the correct stud size for this application.

If the original bolts were 12 mm x 1.5, you could probably go to 14 mm x 1.5 ( that's what the larger, M-B models use ).
